Mr. Erickson started working at Region Five Development Commission in 2010. He is currently the Regional Transportation Planner, responsible for planning and programming of several State and Federal Transportation programs and initiatives including oversight of the Transportation Alternatives (TA) Program, Area Transportation Improvement Plan (ATIP), Safe Routes to School planning (SRTS) as well as facilitating the 19-member Transportation Advisory Council (TAC).   In addition to these and other transportation related responsibilities, he is also engaged in Comprehensive Planning for numerous communities throughout the region, assisting local partners in watershed-based planning as well as a variety of other planning initiatives.

 

Previously Mr. Erickson served R5DC in the capacity of Community and Economic Development planner (2010-2013). He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business with a Finance concentration from Pensacola Christian College (2004-2009). Minoring in Public Administration, Marketing and History, other areas of study include, Commercial Art and Theological/Biblical Studies.
