The City of Long Prairie invites community members to participate in the public review and comment period for the draft Comprehensive Plan update. The public comment period will remain open through March 31, 2025, and the plan can be found at regionfive.org/long-prairie.

Residents, business owners, and stakeholders are encouraged to review the draft plan and submit feedback to help shape Long Prairie's future growth and development. The plan is intended to serve as a guide for the city’s growth and development over the next 10 to 15 years, with periodic reviews to ensure it remains relevant to the community’s evolving needs.

The Comprehensive Plan is a strategic document designed to guide the city’s policies and decisions regarding land use, infrastructure, economic development, environmental sustainability, and community services. Developed with input from local stakeholders and planning experts, the plan outlines a shared vision for a prosperous, inclusive, and sustainable Long Prairie.

To submit public comment, email Savannah Winkler at swinkler@regionfive.org by March 31, 2025.

The City of Long Prairie’s call for public input is a great step toward community involvement. As we plan for the future, supporting adult learners should be a priority. Many residents pursuing HR qualifications could benefit from resources like a cheap CIPD assignment writing service. Making education more accessible can strengthen our local workforce and economy.
